Camp Oak Hill: provides sumer camp opportunities for children and teens, offering them the opportunity to learn to choose character over fame, take healthy risks in a safe environmnet and learn leadership skills that can help carry them through life. 919-280-8581


Community Services:

Connect Granville: a grassroots effort to digitally connect the residents of Granville County in the event of an emergency, making us able to receive broadcast messages through facebook, twitter, email or cell. A Granville County United Way initiative, Connect Granville has partnered with Granville County Emergency Services to notify local residents of the potential for bad weather, lost children and adults, single-family fires accidents, etc. Connect Granville notifications are posted by Granville County Emergency Management and the Granville County Fire Marshall.

SRO Critical Incident Stress Management: this emerging local agency ensures quality of life resilient support following critical inscidents.

Made 4 Me: This independentnon-profit focuses on enabling people with disabilites through the design and manufacture of innovative solutions, building off a proven model working in New York for over 30 years. 708-932-1220

 

 

Health Services:

Harold Sherman Adult Day Center: provides care to elderly, mentally impaired and disabled individuals and enables them to remain in their homes as long as possible, while providing their caregiver with the much needed and deserved break from providing care.

Elderly Services:

Granville Nutrition Program:   provides a nutrition site that serves both congregate site and home delivered meals at lunch to individuals over 60 years old.  This program includes nutrition education and support services to seniors.

Senior Services Lifeline: provides installation and payment of monthly fees for a safety device that allows low-income senior adults to get prompt attention in case of an emergency.

First Baptist Church Creedmoor Food Pantry: provides food and clothing to individuals and families needing assistance with basic needs: fuel and food.
